Scope

The East Asian ALMA Science Workshop is an annual workshop to promote regional collaborations and exchange ideas related to ALMA science in East Asia. We are pleased to announce that the next EA ALMA Science Workshop will be hosted by the ALMA project at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan on Jan 18-21, 2022. We invite all scientists in East Asia to present their latest ALMA-related results as well as new ideas for scientific collaborations in the future cycles. We also welcome astronomers who do not work in the millimeter/submillimeter field to present ideas that involve ALMA in multi-wavelength and multi-messenger studies. In addition, we plan to hold dedicated sessions which focus on the prospects of proposing Large Programs from East Asia.
